March 18, 2015

Well, We went to see Christine’s Rheumatologist at Toronto Western yesterday.  He asked how she was doing and Christine replied that she was doing better.  He asked what we were doing to warrant the improved feeling, so I explained to him all the things that we’ve been trying (Ozone, Hydrogen Peroxide, Vitamins and Electrolyzed Reduced Water)  I didn’t want to mention anything about Kangen, because there are no scientific studies on Kangen Water but there’s a ton on Electrolyzed Reduce Water.

I showed him the graph that I record all of the changes to Christine.  I record her weight, pulse, overall feeling, joint pain and the vitamins and water that she drinks as well as a few other things.  I showed the good doctor the results that Christine’s pulse went from the 100’s down to currently low 70’s.  Her weight is down 13 pounds since January 7th, 2015; I showed on the graph that her overall feeling on a score of 1 – 10 was now about 6 as opposed to the 3 and 4 levels that she use to feel.  The joint pain is measured by 10 toes, 10 fingers, 2 ankles, 2 knees and 2 elbows for a total of 26 joints.  If she feels a lot of pain in a joint she records a two.  If she feels a bit of pain, she records a one and if there is no pain she records a zero.  Up until Christine started drinking the water her joint chart read a consistent score of 52;  The highest it can be.  When she started drinking the water it consistently started going down to the 40’s then the 30’s and yesterday it was at 23.

He didn’t seem to impressed, in fact he appeared a little p???ed off.  He told me that my theory on the micoplasma bug was discounted years ago.  I suggested that what I was doing was just trying to get her body into a state that it could heal itself.  He then suggested that the PH in the water has nothing to do with the body’s PH.  I graciously agreed with him, telling him that I realize the body buffer’s it’s PH balance and that it will do what it can to maintain the perfect PH for each individual area.  I did suggest to him that it could possibly reduce the amount the body has to deal with and that the hydrogen works as a phenomenal anti-oxidant and that I think it may be helping.  He just looked at me and smiled.  He said these results mean nothing and that that there are a lot of people looking for a cure to R.A. and if Electrolyzed Reduced Water was useful that it would have been brought up years ago.  I then suggested that they weren’t necessarily looking for a cure as much as they were looking for a management tool.  I then showed a study found on PubMed (Consumption of water containing a high concentration of molecular hydrogen reduces oxidative stress and disease activity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis) and told him there were at least another 98 studies on PubMed that speak to Electrolyzed Reduced Water.  He took a glance at the study and wrote it off as a general public study that has no bearing on the actual disease.  (Funny how a study that supports his theories on PubMed are OK, but anything that doesn’t support a pharmaceutical is nonsense!)

The Doctor then suggested that just because her pain level is better, doesn’t mean that her arthritis is not still active.  I wholeheartedly  agreed with him.  Christine still suffers from pain and inflammation in a large number of her joints. I then asked him if there were any tests that we could do because I’m as concerned that this may not be fixing her at all and that we need more proof.  The Doctor suggested coming back in 3 months and we would then have some x-rays taken. That way we could have a base line to see if there are improvements.  So we are now looking forward to having another visit on June the 16th, 2015.

As we were walking out Christine did whisper to me that the Doctor has had well over a year to help her feel better and that he only gave us 2 months and that these last 3 weeks, she hasn’t felt this good in three and a half years.  Until my next post.  I wish you all great health. – Kevin
